to gel, the wound
to disappear.

of abuse out of your
heart,
go south,
go north, go anywhere
but stay stuck
inside your soul,
your mind,
your mouth. it's hard
to understand
unless you've been there,
been under the thumb
of darkness,
been trapped in a world
of false love,
living each day
with fear and doubt.
