been a fan of recycling.
filling the blue
bin
with plastic and glass,
tin
and paper.
call me
lazy,
or non-caring about the environment,
climate change
and the melting
ice bergs, etc.
but it's just
something i decided
a long time
ago to not participate in.
it's like
having annoying
homework
to do before you go
to bed at night.
do i worry
about the polar bears
and penguins, the baby seals,
having no ice
to slide around on?
not really.
i think
they'll survive without my blue
bin set
out on the curb
each Wednesday.
