of floaters
in my eyes
i tell the doctor on
the phone,
alien
molecules flying about
especially
in soft light.
there they go flittering
around
the lens
of my eyes.
things only seen
under a microscope,
cells
and blood clots,
crazy little zig zags,
electrical flashes,
all
in a world
all their own.
the doctor shrugs and
says,
don't worry about.
press on.
