so i stop in.
it's the same waitress,
Lil, in her
pink uniform. it's
the same
guy cooking, Sam,
manning
the grill.
it's the same menu,
the same
bent silver ware
and old vinyl booths
with a broken juke
box.
but i'm
here.
so i order the two
eggs over
easy,
hashbrowns
and sausage, wheat
toast
and juice.
just like i used to.
Lil yells over to Sam.
