you think own the house,
the car,
the clothes
you wear,
think again.
it's all gone in the end.
the life you lead,
that briefcase
you swing from your arm,
the food
you eat,
the drinks,
that trip to the beach
in a rental
car.
it's all an ephemeral
state of being.
here today,
gone tomorrow.
