days
before Halloween and yet
the candy is out,
the plastic skeletons,
the spider webs
and masks
are on the shelf.
Christmas can't be far
behind,
can it?
as we lie on the beach
in late July
with a St. Patty's Day
stout.
why not make all the seasons
year round?
