there's a tattoo of

on his arm,

or is that some new

hipster

that i haven't heard of.

i see it as he asks me to open

wide,

throwing a light

down my

throat, holding back

my tongue

with a wooden spoon.

i have shoes

older than him.

there's not a wrinkle

on his skin.

he smells like fresh flowers

in the spring.
