by the silence
of a friend or a loved
one,
it hurts to the bone,
worries
your heart.
you want to make amends
for whatever
wrongs you
did
to cause the silence to start.
but as the years go
by,
this narcissistic behavior
has worn thin,
it has no power over you
anymore.
you laugh in the face
of it
and welcome the end.
