another twenty minutes

i'm killing time.

drinking coffee.

i'm in my underwear at

this machine.

i'm looking out the window,

waiting for ice

to melt.

for traffic to die down.

i'm in limbo.

i'm idling,

waiting for the day

to start.

i'll give it another ten

minutes,

then i'll heat up a cup

of joe

to go.

put some clothes on,

shoes.

bundle up

and hit the road.
