when i was standing

outside

the dressing room

waiting

dress.

i can't do this anymore.

it was an 80 degree day.

weather.

sunny.

i could be anywhere

doing anything,

the beach,

a ballgame,

a walk around the lake.

holding

two dresses

waiting for her to come

out from behind
