see the teachers
in our high school
change.
suddenly they were wearing
their hair long,
wearing
bright colored clothes.
the women
had flowers in their hair.
the men
had a strange a look
in their eyes,
as if they'd seen something
on the other side.
but they still had geometry
to teach,
sentences to diagram,
history to unfold, and
explain the differences
between sine and cosine.
