believes
in the other side.
evil and demons,
dark people.
she brings sage over to my house,
and lights it.
then walks through
each room,
getting the spell out.
waving
the burning branch
around,
filling the air with
the pungent smell of
burning leaves.
once done, she says a prayer,
then we have
sandwiches and tea
on the patio
and we put some music on.
