you visit
the ocean,
you can't help standing back
to stare at it for a moment
or two when you arrive.
it's crazy.
how big and wide it is.
stretching out as far as
the eye can see,
from left to right
and forward.
it's truly amazing.
you think to yourself,
shaking your head,
the depth and power of it all,
and then you put your
luggage in your room
and go get something to eat,
like a crab cake, or lobster.
