here, have some mincemeat pie

not everyone is wise,

or full

of common sense, 

learned through books

or sages, but many

have learned the catch

words and phrases

from watching bad television

most of their wasted

lives. they regale us with such 

snippets of wisdom like,

everything in moderation, or

it's not how you fall,

but how you get up.

better to have loved and lost

than never to have loved

at all. 

i want to push a holiday 

pie into their faces.

and squish it so hard

that mincemeat oozes out of

their ears.
