it's a dangerous

hope.

it keeps one in a state

of anticipation,

waiting

for an answered prayer, or

for the rain

to stop.

or for love to appear. hope

is a bad thing.

it keeps you

in a place of stillness.

despair is much

better.

it makes you work

towards

getting out of it.
