to leave a job, a place
where you don't belong.
it's a brave
thing you do when you cast
aside
friends that aren't friends,
lovers
who don't love.
it takes muscle.
it takes guts.
it takes all of the above
to close the door
and face
yourself in the mirror,
alone,
finding a new way to live
in this world.
