new love and old love

we think of new love

as something for the young.

those that

are not quite stuck in their ways,

willing

to compromise for the sake

of another.

but i say no.

hell no.

true about the compromise,

change, etc.

but bring love

on.

bring it in droves, in baskets

and barrels,

bushels.

love is even better

once

wisdom has captured

our soul.
