I tend
to the garden. hoe

dirt here and there.
weed on
bended knees.
check the status
of carrots
and potatoes.
leaf green lettuce.
string beans.
all is well.
the rabbits have yet
to get beyond
the wire.
the bugs too seem
to have lost their
appetite.
winter is coming.
it's always coming, best
to be
prepared.
