on a pair of boots online.

exactly like
the ones I have, but
the tread

has worn thin.

I've got grey
and brown.

a color called cognac
whatever that is.

and a lighter shade
of maroon that
I never wear

because they look like
girl boots.

but I push the button
to order the black ones
again.

then look out the window
wondering
what's taking
them so long.
