meat loaf
I stir in some ketchup,
a little dark mustard
sprinkle in
some brown sugar
a dollop or two of Worchester
sauce.
mix and taste,
salt, pepper.
perfect.
now baste.

everything but love
she'd cry wolf
the three a.m. call
this too shall pass
have you met her yet?
i suspect these people
find what you love to do
it's easier now, so much
on a different road
sickness and in health?
the run on meat
off and on the phone
a bagel and coffee
the living room?
a brush of sun
she wants to be a widow
under the radar
she was Noir
a different life, unlike this one
it's early, but the men are at work
house for sale
change the channel
not ready for plaid
not there again
the weary sun
she loved her horse more
take it to the edge
come here and kiss me
when the light goes on
my butcher fred
some days you have nothing
tomorrow will be okay
show me your scars
fine dining
we still have time
forget paris
into our long coats
help wanted
your lucky day
bring rope, come fast
the little things
equality in sin
a best seller
we're very close
with everything behind us
land in florida
no place like home
lamb chops, please
the three of us
falling forward
i like to steal
windows
my therapist calls me
face time
sailors at sea
the flea market
not what it is
my hoarding progress
that new car feel
the gold fish
them bones
if i die before i wake
a list
breakfast at target
this is the rainy day
in for service
page one
don't you want to know, she says
misunderstood
against your will
i think she winked at me
a piece of sky
awakened
the apple and the lamb
a thin book of poetry
the honey moon is over
in crisis
caught again
solitary
the lunch counter
pillow talk
meat loaf
the wrong hand
let's wait and see
finding the key
My Kind of Place
who are these people
lion and lamb
greeting cards
the ocean motel
the glow of apples
the boarder
the morning news
the unpaved road
i fall asleep in your arms
unfinished thoughts
i can do that
the shadow self
without you
in the rear view mirror
