she was Noir

from start to finish

I watch stranger on a train.
black and white.

1951. hitchock.

the last time I watched it was
five

or six years ago.
on the same couch,
in the same spot,

but with a flight attendant
from Seattle.

passed away now.

she was as noir as one can be.
a throw
back to another age.

dark and light
at the flip of a wall switch.

we never made it to the end,
as was the case

with most movies we
watched together,

but this time
I will. i'll see her out.
