a miracle.
a parting of the sea,
the blind finding new eyes,
the healing
of
cancer, or a broken heart.
you need
to see beyond the drudgery
of work.
the mundane,
the everyday hustle we
endure.
you need to see someone
walking on
water, or a simple
thank you,
when opening a door.
a miracle, you think, would
set things right
for a while.
but only for awhile, you
do believe.
