an ointment on my sore knees.

it's not

Bengay.

but something similar,

a generic

brand,

without a name.

no Joegay, or Frankgay,

but it has the same ingredients

in it

that Bengay does,

at half the price.

i massage a big dollop

of the goo

around my leg,

my knee, into the joint.

will it work?

of course not, but it smells

minty sweet

and people are giving me

the once over

when i pass by.
