we will have learned our lines.

we will
know how to perform
at weddings
and funerals,
we will know
how to position ourselves
in the best light
possible.
being politely silent when
the curtain
rises.
we will know when to take
a bow
or smile.
it takes time, but we
learn
how to get along.
