in the neighborhood were the ones
that got
a regular
beating from their
father.
they were the kids that always
got into trouble
in school,
always in a fight, or throwing
a rock through a window,
stealing flowers
off a grave.
thankfully, our father was
rarely home.
so we behaved and for the most
part, we got good grades.
