it's hard to stop what you've started

i don't want

my

musical or acting idols,

or writers,

poets

and the like

to get old,

to die.

i want them to live forever

somehow

and to not

go on tour anymore.

to not write

another book,

another poem,

or sing another song,

i want them

to live happily ever after,

not relics

staying too long

past their prime,

unable to let go of

vanity and pride.
