the enormous house,

the pool

in the back yard.

the model

from Vogue magazine.

i'm doing fine

without them,

the butler

or maid.

adoring fans, a chandelier,

a chef to make

me marmalade.

the Pulitzer Prize

for poetry.

no thanks.

i'm doing just fine, thank

you.

i need no parade.
