day
on the ladder
chipping
paint
off the wood trim,
wallpaper
off the walls.
it was a beauty back then.
but no
more.
the rain through
the roof,
the weather of time,
the abuse
and lack of care has
taken it's toll.
sadly we all
get old,
some quicker than others,
i'm told.
