everyday i get several new
friend suggestions
on Facebook.
men and women,
young and old.
i go and look them,
their faces,
i try to figure out
who they are.
why would i friend them?
why would
they want to be my
friend?
i'm not always as friendly
as i appear to be.
i ask this to my dog,
who sits
beside me with his
leash in his mouth,
waiting for his walk.
he agrees.
he understands.
