it's a life

of settling, of compromise.

with our

backs to some

imaginary

wall, we say okay,

give in.

we live here, 

we marry,

we land a job.

why not?

we have to stop looking

elsewhere

at some point\

and dig in.

this life is as good

as any,

i suppose.
