happy to be look at
a house
on this tree lined tree.
birds are chirping,
and the sky is blue.
it's a sunny bright day.
we like the Zillow estimated
appraisal.
the pictures are wonderful.
we ask
the agent, are the schools
good here?
how far a walk
is it to the library,
to the store.
is there much crime?
do we need to lock
our doors?
the agent laughs
and says,
obviously you're not
from around here.
run, don't walk,
anywhere you go.
send your kids to
parochial school
across town.
and always lock your
doors.
i suggest bars and a
camera
on each one. maybe
get a small hand gun.
