lives.

i want to see the abandoned

houses

and buildings.

chain linked fences

around empty lots.

i want to see the estates.

the golf courses,

the rusted out

hulks of cars.

the wealthy

the poor.

i want to see children playing

in the streets,

screaming with joy.

i want to see

banks

being robbed.

dogs off their leash.

i want to see the lights,

the water,

the dirt.

the newborn and old.

i want to see what's out

the window, take

the world in,

and try to make sense

of it all.
