hummingbird
would relax for a minute
and settle on
a branch.
i'd like to get a long
look at him.
study his minuteness.
his bright color.
but no, off he goes
with frenetic energy,
a busy bird.
a bird full of caffeine,
a puff through the trees
with wings
a flutter.
