it's a cold day, a harsh
day
in
the dead of winter.
ice
on the trees,
the frozen
pond,
the bend of arthritic
branches
reminding
you of old
age
yet to come.
while to others it's
a blessing.
staying home
to find warmth
and beauty in the love
of someone.
