that she still
fit into her high school
cheerleader
uniform,
at the age of 58,
and that she could put
her legs behind her head,
still limber
and full of cheer.
despite her old and blurry
photos, this intrigued me,
i encouraged her to make
the drive from Cleveland
to my house, a thousand
miles away.
of course it didn't work out.
we all make mistakes.
