shameless
if you give me a line,
i'll steal it.
if i read
an amazing stretch
of words,
with or without rhyme,
look closely
and see that
i've made them mine.
i'd feel guilt
if i robbed a bank
or hurt someone,
but with poetry,
all bets are off,
i have no shame.

taking a mulligan on the 18th hole
who is this?
those morning people
Ethiopian food
flocking south
nothing that you want
captain of the cheerleaders
no more agains
when life was easy
sharpen the blade
the skull in the woods
it's middle years
the carrot dangling
no, not anymore
sweet sorrow
what the universe says
pardon, garcon, garcon
dramatic pauses
give me an hour
you get used to crazy
no flowers
bad memories
find a chair and sit down
the history of windows
an old man thing
no parking on wednesday
your legacy
the styrofoam box of leftovers
the bills unpaid
just two minor complaints
the unregistered nurse
we almost made it
when we had a future
it can't be unsaid, but
hair
the tofu chicken days
part time gahndis
i recall love
out all night
neither happy nor sad
just say no
the longest day
what lies under the bed
more to the story
birds of a feather
too many hugs?
i'm still mad at you
three boxes of thin mints
the farewell note
no, i don't want to do that
no breathing, please
hot dogs on a stick
he's still here
the nutcracker suite
the maid asleep
making bad choices
a better dog to take home
the fragility of it all
i hate fish
just driving around
innagodda da vida
when the muse arrives
getting the band back together
don't roll your eyes at me mister
starting from scratch
french roast
the atlas map
catered, with music
one bedroom apartment
she's finally coming around
the polar bear plunge
duct tape and screws
family grievances
classified documents
chicken or the egg
we're even now
let's stay home
the kid in her
scraping gum off the shoe
back on earth
the lost and found box
business is booming
you thought i had donuts?
let's go hiking
the best teachers had paddles
potent little globules
the black plague
sign here and here and here and here
major tom to ground control
come on over, but call first
piano legs
out the door price
make it festive
adam and eve in the kitchen
she was busy
i think i wrote about that already
is there anything else i can get you?
verification
the cornbread apology
