some mornings

i can't decide

which black sweater

or sweatshirt to wear.

the baggy one,

the nice one, the one i

usually wear

outside.

the mock turtle neck

one or the crew?

this one has less lint,

made of a polyester

blend, while

this one

is one hundred per cent

cotton,

that breathes,

but keeps me warm

just the same.

the other one is too tight.

i should have

washed it in cold

water

and did the same

with the rinse.

and this one has a hole

in the elbow.

and a few frayed threads.

decisions decisions,

of course there's always

the brown sweaters,

or the one

that i never wear, red.
