it's either yes or no
we wait,
we wait
a lot.
we stand in lines.
we look at our watch.
we're on hold.
we're waiting for the postman.
the return
call,
the email.
the text after asking
the girl
to marry you.
it's either yes or no,
what's the delay
for?

got that over with
beef liver for dinner
the gypsy souls
that went by fast
give me five hail marys
finding faults
give me that pitch
finding your way through darkness
staying out of trouble
you can stay one more night
coming home
end of month sale
a suitcase by the door
please, can we do this later?
not too old
can i get a jump
cracking open the new nut
what's with the big spoon
you go on ahead
same old sunrise
okay, i give up
her last dying words
the longest day on the couch
the blood drive
getting lucky
wrong side of the bed
it's all downhill from here
a can of boiled potatoes
top of the speed dial list
leader of the pack
suddenly the light goes on
castles in the clouds
where you were meant to be
don't let them in
the distorted blur
down to one candle
the pepper mill
those late night monologues
we got this
2023
a mere thought
polishing an image
between the lines
she's light, i'm dark
tip toe into love
a tenth row seat
by the time we got to Woodstock
peeling potatoes
it's not my fault
throwing dice against the wall
where'd they go?
it never sleeps
take the bus
punch the clock
the two ends meet
the fruitcake murder
the day after
life of the party
a better gift
the mystery of gravy
just human
pick your dish
one less reindeer in the sky
my future bride to be
the beauty of aging
hitting rock bottom
the wind off the Hudson
being grateful
we have the car you wanted
no prescriptions necessary
oh please, go on
the big parka
the morning city
what time do you get off?
who they really are
when the curtain falls
man in the cellar
keep all receipts
non-stick
the frozen snow
a girl and her luggage
the Christmas card
now what?
poetry air balls
destination divorce
are we scared?
grab your coat, it's cold out
don't wait up, i'm going out
the bricklayer's helper
blood in the socks
he's had enough
just passing through
finding love on the cross-town bus
going back to school
made in China
boney fingers
the tiresome trio
marketing 101
critics be damned
a six month lease
