between the mattress and the sheets

i ask a few

somewhat knowledgeable people

what to do with

a little extra

cash i have lying around.

some say bonds,

others suggest 

that i put it all

into the stock market,

another suggests long term

health insurance,

annuities,

cd's, a saving account.

my broker says, send me the check

and we'll figure it out

later.

another says

take it to vegas and put it all

on black.

someone says, take a trip

around the world,

or buy the car you've

always wanted.

update your 1968 kitchen.

put it into bit coins, or

rare stamps. it's confusing

to say the least.

as i stuff another stack

of bills between the mattress

and the sheets.
