after the new year.
or maybe i should
just leave them all up.
why does
christmas have to be
such a short span
of time.
i get out my frozen
yellow peeps from
the ice box.
and set them on
the window sill beside
the candles
and the shamrock.
the peeps look
happy, all fluffy and yet
hard with their
sugary marshmallow
bodies.
never too early for them.
