and then
there are those
that go phooey
to all that.
a tree on every floor,
the lights,
the blow up snow men
in the yard,
a wreathe
on every door.
stockings hung,
the whole shebang,
while i'm more of a
minimalist with just
a mistle toe
over the transom.
