for my liking.
it disturbed me how she was
always a ray of sunshine.
pleasant
and kind, courteous
to everyone passing by.
thin as a reed,
praying over every meal,
never a bad word
about anyone,
friend or foe,
relative, or spouse, sibling,
even people she didn't
know.
she was perfect from head
to toe.
so it surprised me
when i saw her picture in
the paper,
after going on a murder
spree
at the local organic store.
