that makes
it so hard for people to say
hello when
passing by.
they look down, they look
at their phones,
they look straight
ahead as if you don't exist.
you say hello,
you wave,
you nod, you tip your hat,
and in return, you get nothing.
is it the same
all over?
or just here where we live.
