as we sit around the table
drinking.
we don't like people.
we like each other,
but people in general are
horrible.
we nod, we laugh.
we wish it wasn't so.
someone says, maybe it's
time for the next
great flood, or a nuclear
war,
start over, reboot the world,
go back to the stone
age.
we laugh again,
we drink some more.
it's a very productive
conversation.
