i hear on the radio that it's national
french fry day.
it's amazing how time flies.
it seems like it was here
just yesterday.
i text and call all my friends
and try to figure out
how we can celebrate
this wonderful day, but they're
busy and seem annoyed
that i would be calling them
about such a thing. i guess
i'm on my own this holiday.
i'm so sad, as i wander the produce
section selecting potatoes.
