it needs tending to,
by plumbers, and carpenters,
men on the roof, but
so do we
need a helping hand
upon
our bodies.
setting bones,
tying knots into wounds,
looking in
our eyes, down our
ears,
our throats.
we need assistance to keep
this fragile
body afloat.
