epiphany
talking with you
gives me a serious headache.
not unlike
the one i used to get
in physics class
in school.
unable to wrap my head around
what a black hole
was.
although i think i have
it figured out now.
it's you.

the midnight hour
no crops this year
the empty chair
the waitress
to dream differently
I Know
biscuit in the oven
the good watch dog
knocking the melons
on the boardwalk
there my dear, right there
a shadow to sit in
the tennis match
one way ticket
you are on a recorded line
dog days
the slow lane
those you love
one more before i go
i can beat this, as God is my witness
picking the plums
the eyeglasses
the party
us in still life
the basement wedding
small talk and chit chat
tastes and smells like christmas
pfffft, men, what are you going to do?
i'll put it in pencil
the baloney of the sea
more research is needed
the short list
christmas in july
hearts restored
a different kind of dream
a long night up ahead
the wishing well
refinance again
the alarm clock
ancient history
oyster love
keeping a budget
the paper boy
where to put them
the lull between
the icy rope
mother's milk
go forward
a very blue sky
walk away
what the body knows
past the factory gates
the high school reunion
girl friends
the honeybee
the collective consciousness
just one more
money and happiness
the think tank
time of the season
give it a name
the wind in her hair
while Nero fiddles
some days are like that
it's a cold hard world
you can't make this stuff up
the wrong turn
her brand new shoes
the first leaf
Seymore Butts
the girls aren't getting along
i want you to meet my family
a month later
the new towne centre
windmill on the seventh hole
the perfect crime
swimming to france
how do i get out of here?
peach cobbler centerfold
the devil in me
blood coffee
after the holidays?
post trauma
a tank full of unleaded
the big lie
lonely in truckee
give up bread?
i just knew it
shut up
breakfast with dad
existential traffic jam
the addition of cats, the subtraction of men
it's all clear now
fly me to the moon
before it all changed
a summer night
consistency
when the ship comes in
the yard expert
deja vu

these are all FICTIONAL stories and characters and are in no way representative of any real experiences in my or anyone else's life. any similarities are purely coincidental, except for the dog poems.
