to be funny. not always,
but on
occasion
they'd hit their mark
and find
your funny bone.
the show was rich in
sarcasm and humor
with both
sides of the aisle
fair game.
maybe two out of ten
sketches
would
make you erupt with
a laugh
a grin.
but that was a long time
ago.
the whole circus
now,
is long in the tooth,
weak and tired,
achingly thin.
