picking up Rhonda at 7

i used

to change the oil,

the brake

pads,

the oil pump,

the water pump.

the filters.

i could put four new

shock absorbers

on the car

on a Saturday

afternoon,

have it washed

and waxed

and ready to pick

up Rhonda

by 7 o'clock.

i used to set the points,

change

the plugs,

install new lights

and blinkers and

the wipers too,

but now,

i don't know where

the latch is

to pop the hood.
