this fly
around all day as he
darts
between
the lamp shade,
the lights,
the curtains,
bouncing himself
off the screen
to the window.
i'm exhausted by him.
his endless
energy,
the constant buzz
of his wings.
i open the door to
give him
a way out, but in
comes more of his
friends.
